| Someone
called Casey is responsible for putting it together, and he did a fine
job. I purchased it from British
Marketing (Doris & Joe), Laguna Niguel, California, who had
it for sale on consignment.
This bike has Boyer ignition, a single Mikuni carb and Borrani rims. Other than that its a standard 850. I have plans to change to Mk 2, Amal 32mm carbs and port the head. I will probably upgrade the front brake at about the same time, and change from a 19 to 20 tooth gearbox sprocket. Even though its a pleasure to ride, its not quite what I want.
So far all I have done is changed to Sintered Bronze clutch plates, added a grab rail, oil catch can for the engine breather, polished and ridden it ( Oh! and fixed a few minor oil leaks).
I usually ride in and over the mountains behind Southern California. I still cant get used to all these Stop signs and Signals here!

| I purchased this MK11A from Carl Rosner
Motorcycles in South London in the mid eighties. I can't remember what,
but I had to do a ton of work to it, including straighten the frame
& fit new fork stanctions! It was a great bike after that.
It was original except the Cambell's peashooters, K&N air filter & boyer ignition. |
